Contacts:

The basic material is pure brass for the P-029 and C-029 plugs. Its rigidity makes contact safe.

The blade of P-029 often rusts due to its material, pure brass. When it happens, you should polish it frequently with a cotton cloth.

Coating:

Plug P-029 and C-029 have no coating on their contacts.

Body:

The 30% glass fiber PBT body has excellent machinability and provides superior electrical insulation. The highly rigid body of the P-029 and C-029 effectively attenuates high speed vibrations. All screws, which were originally designed for the P/C series, are made of high-rigidity stainless steel, which is a non-magnetic substance. In addition, the cable cannot be separated from the plug with less than 30 kg of force, an important safety feature.

Stainless steel screws:

The P/C series screws are all made of high-rigidity stainless steel, so the screw head will not collapse even if too much force is applied. Also, because it is a non-magnetic material, it helps to achieve a high S/N ratio without becoming magnetized at its connection part.

External cover:

The outer shell of the P/C series is made of PC (polycarbonate) for its rigidity and toughness. Helps attenuate tiny vibrations in quick response and reduces distortion due to its superior mechanical strength.
