Smooth treble:

The TAM tweeter, a Focal innovation made in France, offers a wide dispersion and improved sound definition, without losing directionality. With an aluminium/magnesium inverted dome diaphragm and "M" profile, this tweeter delivers impeccable tonal balance and crisp, detailed highs.

Perfectly defined mids:

TMD harmonic damping suspension, a patented Focal innovation, enhances the mids and eliminates all unwanted vibrations. Midrange control depends on the suspension located between the rigid speaker structure and the moving diaphragm. Our acoustic experts have found the solution with TMD (Tuned Mass Damper) technology, which stabilises the suspension to improve tonal homogeneity and sonic neutrality.

The obsession with the midrange:

The midrange is crucial in an acoustic system, and Focal has been working for the past twenty years to control it. TMD technology is responsible for stabilising the suspension and improving the tonal coherence and dispersion of the tweeter.

The Flax membrane:

Patented by Focal and manufactured in our workshops, the Flax membrane is a sandwich composed of French flax fibre between two layers of glass fibre. This membrane meets all the requirements of a high-fidelity membrane: lightness for good dynamics, rigidity to maintain bass and damping for a neutral, uncoloured sound, with generous mids and clear attacks in the low frequencies.

Design and finish:

The speakers in the Aria Evo X line (column, bookshelf monitor and centre) are available in three finishes: High Gloss Black, Prime Walnut and High Gloss Green. The leather front panels associated with these finishes add refinement and character to the equipment. The magnetic mounts supplied with the speakers ensure optimal and discreet integration into any environment.

With renewed technologies and a new finish, the Aria Evo X loudspeakers represent a new standard in both sound and design. The French brand has developed this new range following the Aria philosophy: to offer a pure listening experience with best-in-class loudspeakers.

Models in the Aria Evo X range: Aural pleasure for music and home cinema:

The Aria Evo X speaker range pays homage to traditional hi-fi with five products: a compact bookshelf model (Aria Evo X N°1); three floorstanding speakers (N°2, N°3, N°4) and an additional model for an impressive home cinema experience (Aria Evo X Center).

The inverted-dome "M" shaped TAM tweeter reproduces the highs with greater fidelity at the high and low ends of the spectrum. To provide an enveloping sound in the mids, the Aria Evo X speakers are equipped with TMD® (Tuned Mass Damper) technology to stabilise the sound, reduce distortion and provide balanced dynamics.

The "M" shape of the dome is another Focal innovation, capable of reproducing high frequencies up to 30 kHz. In the woofers, the magnet has been revamped to deliver more bass impact. Focal's engineers have also redesigned the crossover filters with a new crossover filter with a new "M" shape, which is capable of reproducing high frequencies up to 30 kHz.
