The Movie Palace UHD-4K projection screen is a fixed screen developed by the manufacturer Lumene to project ultra-high definition UHD-4K images. On this model, its stretch canvas is fixed to a sturdy 80mm aluminum frame lined in black velvet.
Lumene UHD-4K: a canvas dedicated to ultra-high definition 4K projection
The Movie Palace UHD-4K screen fabric is made of stretch PVC. Unlike HD displays of the same brand, the surface of the UHD-4K fabric is covered with microstructured diamond beads that allow a perfect reflection of the 4K image. The lower white layer has a color temperature of 6000 Kelvin and the difference between the reflected light and that of the room is less than 60 Kelvin. The result on the canvas is a pure, extremely detailed reflection, true to the original projected image.
The canvas has undergone a specific treatment that allows it to resist over time, in fact, it does not yellow, does not retain dust and is resistant to humidity.
