Compact Bookshelf Speaker with Key Improvements over the Speaker Box 5 E
This compact bookshelf speaker introduces key enhancements over its predecessor, the Speaker Box 5 E. Like its predecessor, it employs a two-way, two-driver bass-reflex configuration with a rear port, highlighting the high quality of its transducers and the circuitry managing them.
The 25 mm silk dome tweeter delivers exceptional transparency and smoothness in the high frequencies. For midrange and bass, a 127 mm midwoofer with a seamless cone made from interwoven fiberglass and carbon fibers has been incorporated. This design maximizes rigidity and durability while minimizing distortion at high volumes.
The seamless integration of both drivers ensures agile response, high tonal accuracy, and remarkable balance in the perceived frequency response curve. This performance is achieved through a highly sophisticated crossover network, utilizing carefully selected audiophile-grade components and a high-quality printed circuit board. This architecture minimizes distortion in the critical mid and high frequencies, ensuring an exceptional auditory experience.
The entire system is housed in a rigid MDF enclosure treated for anti-resonance, creating a neutral platform for the drivers. Complementing this is an impeccable finish, gold-plated connection terminals compatible with all types of cables, and protective magnetic grilles. A design that combines aesthetics and functionality to guarantee a top-tier acoustic experience.
