PYLON AUDIO RUBY 20
The Pylon Audio Ruby Monitor Bookshelf or Floorstanding Box is a two-way design built to expand the Ruby line within its compact loudspeakers. The asset of the set is free, the space and the tones have a neutral coloration with surprising possibilities in the field of a close understanding in the recordings.
The construction is based on the PSW 17.8 EXA mid/bass speaker, equipped with a Faraday ring magnetic system and a membrane made of Endumax material. This is a material that has a very good balance between internal damping and stiffness, with the specific weight of the membrane being lower than an analog membrane based on fiberglass or cellulose. The top of the band is recreated by a silk dome tweeter from the Norwegian Seas.
The cabinet is a small and solid chassis, ideal as a monitor, made up of thick MDF boards covered with natural veneer, which provides adequate rigidity in the structure, avoiding resonances and coloration. The slot-shaped Bass-Reflex port on the front eliminates the influence of distance from the rear wall on bass reproduction and makes it easy to fit in smaller rooms.
The Pylon Audio Ruby Monitor can be used as a near field monitor: the set has a neutral, transparent and musical sound at the same time.
The boxes are dedicated for rooms from 12 to 23 m².
