PYLON AUDIO RUBY 30
The Pylon Audio Ruby 30 is the largest and most advanced offering in the Ruby series, dedicated to rooms that are slightly larger. The addition of a midrange transducer along with the implementation of two subwoofers allows this box, a wider frequency response, greater efficiency and a more developed range with sonic subtleties.
The design based on the original PSW 17.8 EXA woofers, equipped with Endumax composite cones. This is a material with a very good balance between internal damping and stiffness, while the specific gravity of the membrane is lower than an analog fiberglass or cellulose based membrane.
The specialized mid-range transducer PSM 17.8 EXA, in addition to using a membrane made of Endumax, has been additionally enriched with a Faraday ring.
A silk dome, originating from the Norwegian Seas, known from other Ruby models, provides great freedom in high frequencies while maintaining stillness and vibrancy.
These treatments have allowed them to obtain surprising possibilities in terms of presentation and intensity of the message. The Pylon Audio Ruby 30 column captivates with neutrality, emphasizing the foreground and filling the soundstage.
The Ruby 30's are solid cabinets, made from high quality MDF, along with bracing placed in sensitive places, effectively eliminating any resonance or coloration of the sound. The front-mounted bass-reflex port allows for easier column alignment and eliminates the effect of distance from the rear wall on boosting lower frequencies.
These columns are dedicated to rooms of 25–48 m².
