VINCENT AUDIO SV-228. Hybrid integrated amplifier with digital inputs. 2 x 100W at 8Ω and 2 x 180W at 4Ω

The SV-228 is the constant further development of the successful series of amplifiers in Vincent's PowerLine line. Featuring a completely new design, with an integrated VU meter on the front panel, the SV-228 is the legitimate successor to the SV-227 MK.

Its internal operation is based on 3 valves (1 x 6N4, 2 x JJ ECC82) in the input stage, which pre-amplify the musical signal before passing to the output power stage. For the final amplification, Toshiba A1941 transistors are used, generating a maximum power output of 180 watts at 4 ohms per channel. Enough power to drive any type of speaker.

New amplifier input connectivity. Now the new SV-228 has a Bluetooth input (ver. 5.0) for wireless streaming.

The SV-228 features a completely new design, with a VU meter embedded in the front panel.

The backlight color can be switched via a slider switch on the rear.

In terms of sound, the Vincent SV-228 is in no way inferior to its predecessors. Quite the contrary: the dynamics and fine resolution have been improved, without losing its natural and warm characteristics. Of course, the SV-228 has an automatic shutdown function defined by the Ecodesign Regulation, which can be turned off by means of a switch located on the rear of the unit.
