Primare I35 Amplifier with Digital-to-Analogue Converter (DAC) DM36

Available in Silver or Black, the Primare I35 amplifier represents a superior advancement over the Primare I15. This new amplifier, fully analogue and equipped with UFPD 2 power output, surpasses the performance of the Prisma I35. With 150 watts of power at 8 ohms via UFPD 2 amplification, linear across the entire audible range, the I35 delivers a naturally fast, clean and agile sound with an unparalleled ability to bring music to life. DM35 digital-to-analogue conversion modules and Prisma modules can be added at a later date.

The I35 is the latest version of Primare's acclaimed integrated amplifiers and one of the first to use the UFPD 2 power supply system, an evolution of Primare's award-winning all-analogue Class D UFPD technology. This modular amplifier features balanced analogue inputs, plus a design that allows the addition of modules such as the DM35 digital-to-analogue converter and the Prisma network player, SM35, providing unparalleled customisation to the system.

DM36 DAC Module:

The DM36 is a new digital-to-analogue converter (DAC) using an ESS ES9068A chipset, offering resolution up to PCM 384 and DSD 256. It significantly improves performance compared to its predecessor DM35, providing a more detailed and realistic sound. It offers multiple inputs, including 4 Toslink optical, 2 RCA coaxial and 1 USB B for computer connection. The DM36 allows PCM up-sampling for improved digital conversion quality, and supports MQA playback. Technical specifications include the ESS ES9068A chipset, various digital inputs and outputs, as well as full MQA processing capabilities with Prisma and Primare CD sources.
