The Cadenza Red is a very high performance pickup capsule based on the mobile coil system (MC) that reflects Ortofon's latest advances in exploring the limits of vinyl disc grooves. Thus, Cadenza Red stands out firstly by incorporating a Fine Line Nude needle with a cylindrical aluminum cantilever. The ratio of needle tip radii is r / R 8/40 um, while coil windings are made with pure silver conductors 6N (99'9999% purity). An improved process for the elaboration of armature windings allows the Cadenza Red to exhibit a better balance between channels, thus contributing to a wider and more accurate stereo image. Thanks to its special configuration, this exquisite tuning capsule provides a more relaxed, homogenous and moderately dynamic sound aesthetic compared to the Cadenza Blue while exhibiting a high level of spaciousness and depth in the sound image. On the other hand, the output level of the Cadenza Network guarantees the compatibility with a wide range of high-quality phono preamplifiers, as well as with all types of high-performance reading arms.
