The SuperLine E is similar to the standard SuperLine, except that it is designed for use with capsules that have a higher output voltage than the more common moving coils and has lower amplification.

The SuperLine is a high performance moving coil turntable integrated into Naim's aluminium reference cabinet, with an anodised front panel. It incorporates Naim's latest analogue electronic design and environmental isolation techniques into the most sensitive analogue component of any hi-fi system: the moving coil phono signal. The SuperLine requires an external power supply, either derived from the power supply of a suitable Naim preamplifier or the SUPERNAIT and NAIT XS integrated preamplifiers, or, for optimum performance, a dedicated FlatCap XS, HiCap or SuperCap.

The SuperLine extracts the best of vinyl reproduction: timing, tonal accuracy, clarity, detail and the distinctive naturalness that records can provide in abundance.

At the heart of the SuperLine is a new discrete two-stage Class A amplifier and passive RIAA filter that operates with 25 internally regulated power supplies and features the transistor "quiet room" thermal isolation technique originally developed for the NAP 500 power amplifier. Ambient isolation is also ensured by SuperLine's massive sub-chassis and high-Q spring suspension system, which is employed here for the first time in a phono amplifier.

Duplicate phono and BNC connectors offer input versatility, and four resistive and three capacitive load connectors allow the matching impedance of the capsule to be adjusted. Combined with SuperLine's internal input loading, twenty different standard loading combinations are possible.
