PRO-JECT 6 PerspeX Balanced
A distinguished high-end turntable that stands out primarily for its compatibility with the "True Balanced Connection" signal transmission. To this end, it features a 5-pin XLR output and, if the buyer prefers, a Pro-Ject Pick it MC3 moving coil cartridge. As for the vinyl player itself, the 6 PerspeX Balanced is equipped with a Corian sub-chassis with magnetic suspension, maximizing environmental isolation and ensuring precise capture of micro-information from the record groove. Additionally, the detailed construction of the platter, with an acoustically inert MDF sandwich structure and a thin vinyl layer, minimizes potential coloration during playback. As usual with Pro-Ject, this turntable uses belt drive with an AC motor powered by a DC generator, with electronically controlled speeds of 33 and 45 rpm. Regarding the rotation system, it includes an inverted bearing with a ceramic ball to ensure virtually non-existent friction. The tonearm, equipped with high-precision ABEC 7 bearings, is the advanced EVO 9 CC, designed and manufactured entirely by Pro-Ject in its own facilities.
