The Furutech e-TP80ES power strip is a sophisticated and luxuriously crafted power distributor that eliminates many common problems found with audio and video components caused by heavily polluted electrical power.

The AC waveform is severely distorted by ground noise, voltage spikes and dips, high-frequency power supply noise from other components in your own system, plus high-frequency digital noise radiated by processors and digital interconnections.

There are also distortion products at the top and bottom of the AC waveform created by switching power supplies in electronic devices on the same circuit. Plus, you're never alone: ​​your residential AC mains supply is shared with other apartments, homes, and businesses on the same utility transformer. The beautifully crafted special grade aluminum chassis effectively shields against another common problem, Radio Frequency Interference (RFI), and a layer of GC-303 formula blocks Electromagnetic Interference (EMI).

Furutech's two-stage cryogenic and degaussing alpha process

Using state-of-the-art technology and materials, Furutech developed a two-stage, low-temperature process that significantly improves all facets of audio and video performance. The treatment begins during the manufacturing process with a deep and conditioning cryogenic freeze of all metal parts. Using high-end refrigerants, liquid N2 or He, Furutech reaches temperatures between -196 and -250ºC. The second step of the Alpha process exposes these same parts to the proprietary ring degaussing treatment. This patented process uses controlled dimming to completely eliminate magnetization for immediately more vivid and colorful enhancements. Ring demagnetization further improves the conductivity of all treated materials.
