Nordost QKORE 6: Artificial Ground Unit for Systems with Monoblocks
The Nordost QKORE 6 is the most comprehensive grounding solution for high-end audio systems, specifically designed for setups featuring monoblock amplifiers and multiple components. Its advanced technology creates a clean, stable artificial ground point, eliminating electrical noise and interference from Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and cellular signals. The result is a purer, more detailed, and natural sound.
Combining Nordost’s patented Micro Mono-Filament technology with Low Voltage Attractor Plates (LVAP), the QKORE 6 passively channels electromagnetic disturbances and stray magnetic fields to an optimized ground point. This dramatically reduces background noise, enhances harmonic accuracy, improves clarity, and delivers richer, more fluid musicality.
Its solid, mechanically tuned aluminum chassis houses six gold-plated WBT binding posts:
1 post for grounding the Nordost QBASE power distribution unit.
2 posts dedicated to the left and right channels of monoblock amplifiers.
3 additional posts for other system components (DAC, preamp, streamer, etc.).
The unit includes a high-purity Nordost QKORE Wire, mechanically tuned to provide the lowest-resistance path to ground, featuring solid-core silver-plated OFC conductors with FEP insulation.
