Description
The third level, upstream, offered by Ortofon's range of audio interconnection cables, the Reference Bronze, is a design that offers an extraordinarily wide passband and a clear and neutral sound for a price that in the field of High End should be considered as very competitive. More technologically developed than the two models that precede it, the Reference Bronze combines three conductive materials, all based on 4N copper: HiFC, OFC and PCUHD ("Pure Copper High Durability"). In particular, said materials are organized in two bunches, each of which is in turn formed by four different types of conductors arranged in parallel and oriented in such a way that the internal structure thereof is kept symmetrical with each other. The Reference Bronze is finished with nickel-plated RCA connectors with a rhodium plated casing or gold-plated XLR connectors to ensure the most effective and reliable connection possible.
