The components of the electronic board are soldered by hand, and the units are assembled in our workshop by metronome technicians.
The DreamPlay XC is equipped with an internal DAC to complement the Dreamplay X (which is a digital-only transport).

With the Kalista DreamPlay XC, the manufacturer goes one step further than with the "normal" Kalista DreamPlay X and offers, as described, the unique 4-in-1 system with an additional D / A converter.
Many Kalista fans have been requesting a SACD Transport or Player for a long time.
Here it is, immediately recognizable by its shape, even if there are no parts in common with the other products in the DreamPlay range.
The legendary mix of materials is still there, aluminum for the chassis, stainless steel for the feet, the transparency of methacrylate for the top and a new round touch screen…
But DreamPlay X is not just a SACD Transport, it's also a Streamer and Network Player (up to DSD256), plus a resampling function. The integrated version, DreamPlay XC, has an internal DSD D/A converter and Leedh Processing's famous digital volume control.
Available in Diamond (silver) and Black Pearl (black) finishes, retail prices are €59,900.00 for the DreamPlay X® and €68,700.00 for the DreamPlay XC.
