Our founder, Julian Vereker, immediately recognised the many advantages of using aluminium to encase Naim's electronic components. He knew that sensitive audio components are highly susceptible to the effects of magnetic fields, thermal runaway and unwanted vibrations...
The New Classic line follows this sustainable and highly engineered philosophy with aluminium housings that are second only to our flagship product "Statement". Naim opted for premium aluminium that optimally combines thermal and microphonic properties. The fronts are covered with 20 mm solid aluminium blocks; the heat sinks are integrated into the sides. The product is sealed at the top and bottom by 5 mm plates. The aluminium is brushed, sandblasted and anodised to maintain its unaltered beauty throughout the life of the product. One look and one touch is enough to fall in love with the New Classic line long before the first musical note sounds.
