Specially designed to meet the highest demands in what is known as distributed sound, the MDX-12 is a stylish and compact 12-channel power amplifier that occupies only 1U in a rack. This versatile amplifier is capable of sounding up to 6 zones with authority and allows each stereo channel pair to be bridged into mono for additional wattage when required.
The output section of this robust amplifier is notable for combining state-of-the-art Class D technology with high efficiency and a "non-intrusive" protection system that monitors current, voltage and temperature overshoot.
In terms of functionality, the MDX-12 offers simple and effective configuration options thanks to intuitive controls that adapt perfectly to the needs of each installation. This allows each zone to be configured in a completely customised way, from input source assignment to zone name, with independent settings for parameters such as start-up mode, input gain, input selection and bridging mode on a zone-by-zone basis.
