Nextgen™ Signature RCA Socket with pure copper signal conductor, for chassis mounting.

The characteristic impedance of 75 ohms means that these jacks carry not only great analog signals, but also great digital audio and video signals. The transmission bandwidth is 1 GHz.

The connector contact elements are made of high-purity copper, one of the best electrical conductors, to ensure optimal signal transmission. The metal is gold plated (nickel free) so that the surface does not oxidize and impair contact quality.

The inner contact is an active spring contact. The newly developed three-segment tulip contact is pressed onto the center pin of the RCA plug by a surrounding double brass spring ring. This not only ensures reliable contact with non-standard RCA plugs, but the contact also remains reliable even after the plug has been plugged in and out many times.

The outer contact is in the form of a double wave that surrounds the socket element made of robust Ultramid*. This waveform ensures reliable contact with any RCA plug. Additionally, reducing the amount of conductive material to an absolute minimum prevents the creation of eddy currents, allowing the WBT-0210 to transmit signals completely distortion-free. Eddy currents occur in metallic components near which alternating current flows. These currents can lead to significant signal distortions.

Mounting insulators are supplied to ensure not only insulation, but also kink-proof mounting and polarity identification. Locknuts and double-pass washers with lugs are also supplied.
