The basic element influences the sound quality of the WBT-0102. Copper was chosen as one of the best electrical conductors, which is an absolute guarantee for ultra-fast signal transmission, but also excellent fine resolution. The signal conductors are gold plated (nickel free) and therefore better protected against oxidation. which would affect the quality of the contact.
WBT-0102 Cu connected with its transmission bandwidth up to 200 MHz, well above the transmission bandwidth of RCA connectors.
Through the pick-up manifold device that works like a drill chuck of a drilling machine, the plug contact has been firmly inserted into the RCA socket. Maximum contact speed provides a secure connection, but also minimizes transition resistance.
Thanks to the two-piece clamping sleeve, the sleeve does not rotate when the clamping sleeve is tightened and therefore the contact elements are not exposed to torsional pressure. Furthermore, in this way the inaccuracy dimension of the outer contacts of the sockets is compensated.
The center pin is slotted and slightly bent upwards with its firm spring feature that has a long lasting secure electrical connection with the lowest possible transition resistance.
The body element is made of brass (gold plated) to accept rigid and particularly thick cables. The metal connector body is, of course, electrically decoupled from the Center Contact Unit and is made from as little metal as possible, so that WBT-0102 is widely available to a great extent.
Other recordings for recordings (turntables, microphones) have good shielding against interfering electromagnetic fields. Undesirable interference can be surrounded by (cell phones, computers, etc.). To solder your cable, WBT recommends using WBT-0800 (see also solder connection) which is smooth on the surface.
