Corina is an absolute reference headphone based on electrostatic transducers that builds on the celebrated Voce to elevate the intimate listening experience to unprecedented levels of warmth and richness. It incorporates such bold technical solutions as Dan Clark Audio's revolutionary and unique Advanced Metamaterial Tuning System (AMTS), first used in the Stealth and Expanse models. Prodigiously engineered, the AMTS integrates waveguides, diffusion control, quarter-wave and Helmholtz resonators to eliminate standing waves, dramatically improving sonic performance. Also, to ensure maximum consistency between units, the Corina's 88 mm diameter transducer is manufactured with a new tensioning system that increases diaphragm tension and diaphragm uniformity for better matching between transducers, which are then carefully levelled to ensure a stunning image and soundstage. In addition, new ear pads with improved ergonomics are available, including a suede surface to prevent sweat and the usual "hot spots" in headphones.
