WiiM Amp: Music Services
By connecting to the Internet through WiFi or Ethernet, the WiiM amplifier provides access to numerous streaming services such as Spotify, Deezer, Qobuz, Amazon Music, Tidal, Napster, Apple Music, among others. It also facilitates access to web radios via iHeartRadio and TuneIn.
WiiM Amplifier: AirPlay 2, Chromecast, and Bluetooth
In addition to streaming services, the WiiM Amp allows you to receive music from Apple devices via AirPlay 2, enabling audio transmission from any app, including YouTube. For Android devices, the built-in Chromecast makes audio streaming easy. The amplifier also includes Bluetooth 5.0, allowing connection to any smartphone, tablet, or computer that is not compatible with AirPlay 2. This Bluetooth module is bidirectional, meaning it can also transmit music to Bluetooth headphones or speakers.
WiiM Amp: Complete Connectivity
The WiiM amplifier offers complete connectivity, allowing easy integration with various sources. With RCA and optical inputs, you can connect a CD player, a turntable with a preamp, or a computer, among other devices. The HDMI ARC port facilitates connection with a TV, retrieving the audio track from the visual content. The USB-A port allows you to play music files from a USB drive or external hard drive. Additionally, the WiiM amplifier features a coaxial output compatible with 24-bit/192 kHz to connect to an external DAC. The RCA inputs can be configured as preamplified outputs, allowing you to connect the WiiM Amp to an external power amplifier.
WiiM Amplifier: 100-Watt Power
The WiiM amplifier offers 60 watts per channel at 8 ohms and 100 watts per channel at 4 ohms, making it ideal for powering bookshelf speakers or small floor-standing speakers. Its Class D design provides excellent dynamics to handle the demands of music and movie soundtracks. To suit user preferences, the WiiM Amp offers 24 preset equalizer settings, along with a 10-band graphic equalizer.
WiiM Amp: Multiroom Functionality
The WiiM Amp can be used independently or integrated into a multiroom system to enjoy music throughout the house. It offers three different operating modes for audio distribution. With Apple devices, AirPlay 2 can be used to integrate it into a multiroom system. With Amazon devices, AVS Multiroom technology can be utilized. It can also be connected to other LinkPlay-compatible devices, allowing you to play different music in each room or the same song throughout the house. Additionally, the volume can be independently adjusted in each zone.
WiiM Amp: App and Voice Assistants
The WiiM Amp is easy to use and is primarily controlled through the WiiM Home app, which allows you to manage multiroom groups, control music, and access various online music services, web radios, and DLNA shared files. It is also compatible with voice assistants like Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri, allowing you to control the music with voice commands. The amplifier can also be complemented with the WiiM Remote, which includes a microphone for directly activating voice assistants.
