Both for its exceptional musical performance and its elegant, understated design, the X-A220 amplifier commands respect from the very first moment.
A monophonic amplifier represents the ideal solution for improving the overall performance of a hi-fi system. This principle avoids any interaction between the power supply circuits and the amplifier stages between the left and right channels.
The powerful power supply combined with the triple output stage equipped with the MAA 1000's renowned "very high current" transistors (NJW0281G - NJW0302G), allows the X-A220 amplifier to deliver a power output of 220 Watts RMS at 8 Ohms.
With its Hi Bias function enabled, the X-A220 amplifier can easily power a wide range of commercially available loudspeakers.
The X-A220 offers a power rating of 220 W per channel in Class AB, with a switch located on the rear of the device allowing the X-A220 to deliver the first 55 watts in Class A. Beyond this power, the switch to Class AB is performed automatically.
