Designed to enhance Anthem's recent AVM 90 and AVM 70 A/V preamplifiers/processors in high-end home theatre installations, the MCA 325 GEN 2 is an efficient and quiet three-channel power amplifier with improved ruggedness and efficiency, capable of delivering a clearer and more expansive sound thanks to its greatly reduced harmonic distortion. Fully designed and manufactured in Canada, this unit is a showcase of Anthem's mastery of high quality amplifier manufacturing, integrating specifically designed high power toroidal transformers, high current bipolar transistors, audiophile-grade filtering capacitors, large aluminium heat sinks, custom-made speaker connection terminals and a patented automatic on/off system.
The MCA 325 GEN 2 also features a considerable reduction in internal cabling compared to its predecessor model, and includes the latest version of Anthem's exclusive Advanced Load Monitoring (ALM) technology. This function monitors temperature, voltage and current without affecting audio quality, ensuring safe and durable operation while eliminating the need for internal fuses. The amplifier is complete with an extensive graphic display panel and high-fidelity input and output connectors, including both RCA and XLR.
