Optimised to complement Anthem's advanced AVM 90 and AVM 70 audio and video preamplifiers/processors in high-performance home theatre configurations, the MCA 225 GEN 2 is a versatile, ultra-quiet stereo power amplifier that offers improved efficiency and durability. Thanks to its extraordinarily low harmonic distortion, it delivers a purer and wider sound. Fully designed and manufactured in Canada, the MCA 325 GEN 2 encapsulates Anthem's expertise in high-end amplification, incorporating custom high-power toroidal transformers, high-current output bipolar transistors, audiophile-grade filter capacitors, oversized aluminium heat sinks, custom speaker connection terminals and patented automatic on/off circuitry.
The MCA 225 GEN 2 also features a significant reduction in internal cabling compared to its predecessor, as well as the latest version of Anthem's exclusive Advanced Load Monitoring (ALM) technology. This technology constantly monitors temperature, voltage and current during operation to ensure safe and prolonged operation, eliminating the need for internal fuses. The MCA 225 GEN 2 comes complete with a large graphic display panel and high-fidelity input and output connectors, both RCA and XLR.
