Designed to enhance Anthem's advanced AVM 90 and AVM 70 A/V preamplifiers/processors in high-specification home theatre systems, the MCA 525 GEN 2 is a versatile and extremely quiet five-channel power amplifier that offers significant improvements in efficiency and durability. This unit stands out for its very low harmonic distortion, resulting in a clearer and more expansive sound. Built entirely in Canada, the MCA 525 GEN 2 is a demonstration of Anthem's mastery of high-end amplifier technology, including custom high-power toroidal transformers, high-current bipolar output transistors, audiophile-grade filter capacitors, large aluminium heat sinks, custom speaker connection terminals and a patented automatic on/off system.
The MCA 525 GEN 2 also incorporates a significant reduction in internal cabling compared to the previous model and features the latest generation of Anthem's Advanced Load Monitoring (ALM) technology. This system monitors operating temperature, voltage and current, ensuring continuous and safe operation without interfering with the audio signal and eliminating the need for internal fuses. This model comes complete with a large graphic display panel and high-fidelity input and output connectors, both RCA and XLR.
