Electrocompaniet's AW 300 M Power Amplifier features an updated yet distinctive design that integrates seamlessly with the brand's current and legacy products.
Power Amplification:
The AW 300 M uses Electrocompaniet's high open-loop, direct-coupled bandwidth topology, enhanced with extended bandwidth, high-speed response amplifier stages. The innovative output stage isolates the input and driver stages from the load, providing a rigid output impervious to connected loads, reducing distortion significantly.
Current Improvements:
The power supply undergoes substantial improvements, with generous 110,000 uF supply filtering. The mains power input is meticulously filtered for DC and RF noise. With an 800 VA toroidal transformer and an improved wire gauge transformer, magnetic and electrostatic shielding effectively minimises interference. The internal ground reference is oversized to eliminate output currents and rectification, providing a noise-free output signal.
Construction and Design:
The AW 300 M features design enhancements, such as a new faceplate with a 3D logo and a redesigned power button. The chassis has been re-engineered from the ground up, with modular construction and sleek black brushed aluminium rods for improved rigidity and aesthetics. All this is presented in a luxurious matte finish that retains Electrocompaniet's distinctive and timeless look.

SuperSpikes are all-in-one spiked feet that address common problems when using conventional spikes, such as damage to surfaces and isolate the equipment from external vibrations.
