Belonging to the prestigious Momentum range, the Momentum C2 preamplifier incorporates the results of continuous advances in audio processing. At the core of this elegant and distinguished electronics with separate power supply, an exceptional innovation stands out: the revolutionary ‘Complementary Four Circuit’ topology in the input section, whose structure ensures optimal mechanical and electronic isolation, keeping the signal integrity intact during the crucial preamplification stage, resulting in superior clarity and sonic fidelity.
This circuitry, based on the legacy of the renowned Momentum HD Preamplifier, employs a set of four JFET transistors in a complementary push-pull differential configuration, significantly increasing input impedance and reducing noise.
Another key element of the Momentum C2 Preamplifier is its advanced and sophisticated power supply, housed in a separate chassis located just below the audio chassis for optimal isolation. This power supply feeds the audio chassis via a 20-amp multipin connector and includes custom toroidal transformers for the analogue and digital subsystems, as well as dedicated circuitry to correct radio frequency noise (RFI) and network signal irregularities.
