The cartridges of the Gold series are the highest performance cartridges in the Aidas cartridge portfolio. Their uniqueness are the different body materials and the 24 carat pure gold coils. The gold-plated coils sound very natural and detailed.
Aidas Gold PL cartridges come with 2 different bodies: Tru-stone Blue River Agate and Mammoth tusk. . Tru-stone is a beautiful and unique artificial stone consisting of more than 85% real stone.
The Aidas Mammoth Gold is the newest and most advanced of the Aidas cartridges. The body of the cartridge is made from 21,000 year old Siberian woolly mammoth tusk ivory.
Mammoth is the best and most exclusive material that Aidas has been able to find for its high-end cartridges. Better than stone, better than exotic wood or metals.
It has unique sound properties. It was even compared to other types of bone / horn (deer) material and is far superior. It is super resilient and perfectly dampens unwanted vibrations.
