The Clearaudio Jubilee MC represents a milestone in the world of hi-fi. This collection marks the first time Clearaudio has introduced a moving coil capsule with an armoured wooden housing, demonstrating its commitment to regional sonic craftsmanship and its ongoing pursuit of material excellence.
The shape of the Jubilee MC capsule is reminiscent of Clearaudio's V2 series masterpieces, and its armoured wooden body offers low resonance and minimal weight, optimising the properties of the voice coil construction. Each body is created with a special lacquering and polishing technique, carried out by expert violin makers in Bubenreuth, as a tribute to Clearaudio's 40 years of development and production in Erlangen.
Clearaudio has been at the forefront of moving coil technology since 1978, developing capsules that can extract fine details from plate grooves and react quickly to dynamic changes. Their in-depth knowledge of material selection and construction has led to significant improvements in sound quality, with records in dynamics, impedance, inductance, load capacitance and scanning. In addition, Clearaudio has achieved a revolutionary integration of moving coil technology into high-end moving magnet models.
The Clearaudio MC Generation V2 sets a new standard for high-end MC capsules, with perfect symmetry and unsurpassed sound quality. Each Clearaudio moving coil capsule is a masterpiece of engineering, handcrafted in Erlangen, Germany, and represents the pinnacle of hi-fi excellence.
