We have developed the "10.0" arm and the "Pi" capsule as a complement to our two direct-drive turntables "Oasis" and "Bardo".

The "10.0" has a close resemblance to the "10.5" arm. For the "10.0" tone arm we also use various parts that have proven to be perfect in our arms such as the tube with the hard ceramic surface, the housing, the arm riser and the mounting base. Therefore, the "10.0" can be mounted on tone bases with the same holes as the "10.5" or "12.1".

The "10.0" uses a different bearing technique than the "10.5", it is a kind of unipivot design. We use a miniature bearing mounted on a stainless steel tip for horizontal mounting. A ceramic bearing at the bottom prevents lateral movements of the tone arm. This bearing is frictionless and allows a very smooth play. Unlike a magnetic or hydraulic damping, this solution creates a lively and stable sound. The same miniature bearings are used for the vertical movement in a backlash-free setting.

The "10.0" features an infinitely variable Azimuth adjustment. A small clamping screw under the arm tube holds the housing in position. The housing can be rotated about ± 5° after undoing the screw. A precision plastic part mounted in place of the cartridge allows the housing to be aligned parallel to the recording plate or surface. This plastic part has the same height as our EMT-ti cartridge and also allows the height of the arm to be aligned. If a cartridge has any deviation in azimuth, adjustment can be made by turning the connector in the desired direction to adjust the cartridge stylus vertically to the recording surface.
