The first Rega turntables built during the 1970's featured a Rega designed 'S' shaped forearm, called the R200. In 1983 it was time for Rega to design and build their own forearm and the world famous RB300 (Rega Britain) was born. The die-cast silicon alloy tube took two years to develop in conjunction with the UK's largest die-casting company. Rega's work and casting later won them an "international casting award" from America for what is still considered a technically impossible casting - see if you can find one like it! Since its conception, Rega has sold over 400,000 of the now legendary RB300 derived guns.
