After the Debut Carbon EVO revolutionized the Debut series in 2020, the Debut PRO raised the bar even higher. Now, the Debut PRO B incorporates a new balanced MM cartridge: the Pick it PRO Balanced.

The new Pick it PRO Balanced offers the same powerful and vibrant sound as before but is now compatible with our True Balanced Connection, making it the first MM cartridge of its kind. The key to achieving the exceptional sound of the Pick it PRO lies in the perfect combination of its components.
Ready for true balance.
Balanced audio connections are the standard in the professional music industry, recording studios, and live shows as they eliminate noise and interference. The main advantage of these connections is their ability to drastically reduce noise pickup.
The Debut PRO B comes equipped with our balanced MM cartridge, the Pick it Pro Balanced, and a balanced mini XLR phono output.
Cartridges are already balanced signal transducers by nature! However, due to the typical internal wiring of MM cartridges, it was necessary to upgrade to an MC cartridge to take advantage of this. But with the new Pick it Pro Balanced, this is no longer necessary. This cartridge has been modified to leverage the full available balanced signal.
With our True Balanced Connection cables (available separately) and balanced phono stages (such as the Phono Box S3 B or DS3 B), you will have access to high-end features previously reserved for much more expensive setups.
A milestone for the future.
The Debut PRO B introduces an entirely new design to the Pro-Ject turntable line, standing out for both its aesthetics and sound performance.
The aluminum parts, precisely CNC-milled and nickel-finished, give the Debut PRO B a modern, simple, and elegant look. This nickel coating creates a durable, long-lasting surface, allowing us to avoid using plastics and other materials that age and compromise sound quality.
The tonearm bearing has been completely redesigned. Milled from a single block of aluminum and coated in nickel, this design enhances rigidity, ensuring smooth and precise tonearm movement without compromising its function or appearance.
Solid motivation.
The electronically controlled synchronous motor ensures precise and stable rotational speed. Switching between speeds is easy thanks to its toggle switch. With the additional belt for 78 RPM, you can also play your shellac records.
The new platter of the Debut PRO B is the first in any Pro-Ject model. Its design includes a notch for the record label, and when used with the Record Puck PRO (available separately), it ensures firm contact between the record and the platter. Additionally, the die-cast aluminum platter is balanced and anti-magnetic, allowing optimal performance of MC cartridges.
The heavy, TPE-damped (thermoplastic elastomer) platter reduces resonance and minimizes speed fluctuations. The Record Puck PRO adds even more stability and damping, making it the perfect complement to this model.
Hybrid tonearm.
The Debut PRO B features a sandwich design tonearm made of carbon and aluminum. The external carbon layer provides rigidity, while the internal aluminum ensures damping, making it ideal for high-end MC cartridges.
Fine adjustments.
The new tonearm base design allows for adjustments of both azimuth and vertical tracking angle (VTA). This gives you the flexibility to adapt the tonearm to different setups, maximizing the sound performance of your system.
