Anti-Resonant Design with Solid Construction
The main chassis and sub-chassis are made from solid wood with anti-resonant treatment and no hollow chambers, effectively minimizing vibration transmission and enhancing mechanical stability. Silicone-damped feet add an additional layer of decoupling from the surface, further reducing external interference in vinyl playback.
Belt Drive with Precision Tonearm
The A1.2 uses a next-generation belt-drive system developed in Germany. It features an ultralight 8.3” (211 mm) aluminum tonearm with a carbon fiber-reinforced headshell, designed for smooth, accurate groove tracking. This combination ensures faithful playback with low distortion and excellent channel separation.
Plug & Play with Built-in Cartridge and Phono Preamp
For a ready-to-use experience, the Pro-Ject A1.2 comes pre-fitted with the Pick it MM E moving magnet cartridge, developed by Pro-Ject. The integrated phono preamp allows the turntable to connect directly to any line-level input, simplifying integration into any audio setup—no external components required.
