In the world of turntable construction, Innovation is the latest technological prototype and technological role model in the world of turntable construction.
An infrared sensor combined with Clearaudio's Optical Speed Control (OSC) ensures an excellent level of speed stability, a prerequisite for optimal vinyl listening. A separately housed high-torque DC motor effortlessly rotates the 70 mm thick platter precisely machined from high-density acrylic material. The platter rotates in a virtually friction-free environment on the 15 mm thick stainless steel secondary platter, thanks to Clearaudio's patented ceramic magnetic bearing (CMB). It can play vinyl at three different rotation speeds, the rotation speed can be easily selected at the push of a button and it is possible to install a second arm.
