The signal from the phono cartridge output is extremely small and is easily contaminated with RFI and EMI. Every element of signal transfer must be perfectly designed to avoid distortion that sucks the life out of music. If you're going to bother playing vinyl, why submerge the low-level signal in a veritable soup of noisy distortion at its source?

Ag-16 phono cable achieves its remarkably quiet holographic soundstage and transparent presentation with silver-plated OCC ∝ conductors, three-layer shielding and external ground wire, including a specially designed cable clamp to improve grip and prevent any potential distortion.
