Not only is the V5 avant-garde in its visual design, appearing to be carved from a single block of aluminium, it harnesses the latest technical innovations from a leading brand in the specialized field of AV and audio power systems.

The V5 Aquarius is an innovative cleaning and power distribution system measuring 450mm wide, 350mm deep and 110mm high. It has 6 independent outlets, each with its own power cleaning network. Therefore, Aquarius is six energy cleansing grids in one box. Differential and common mode noise is drastically reduced. Cross contamination from connected components is also kept to a minimum due to multiple power cleaning stages for each outlet. Most power filters tie the output taps together, each running in series. This is a mistake, as differential mode noise created by connected electronics will cross-contaminate from one output jack to the next.

The electrical architecture and design of the V5 Aquarius have been drastically improved. The PCB layout and topology have been revised, offering over 35% improved amperage and lower resistance. Unique critical components (custom made) have better overall tolerances with improved inductance and current handling. The new circuit offers twice the inductance, with a 40% increase in current leading to more open sound staging, micro dynamics and detail with more immediate timing. The V5 is designed with two thermomagnetic fuses, one 16 A for the two high current output sockets, supplying 3680 W at 230 V or 1840 W at 115 V. The second 6 A for the four remaining medium current output sockets, supplying 1,380 W at 230 V or 690 W at 115 V, is dedicated to the source components and features IsoTek's exclusive Adaptive Gating © technology. This technology automatically detects the connected load and provides the ideal clean power based on energy consumption.

The thermomagnetic system is a substantial improvement over a standard ordinary fuse due to the contact surface. By virtue of its electrical function, a standard fuse must have a very fine wire, which is also the case with the expensive gold-plated audiophile versions.
