The Hypex SMPS3kA400 is a high-performance switch-mode power supply (SMPS) specifically designed to power Ncore and UcD amplifier modules. With a total output of 3000 watts, it delivers a robust, efficient, and quiet power supply for even the most demanding audio systems. Includes the SMPS3k Cable Set for direct and secure connection.

The SMPS3kA400 is engineered for stable and dynamic power delivery, thanks to its combination of high energy efficiency, large primary filter capacitors, and smart overload protection.
In case of a temporary overload, the supply will automatically limit the output current. If the condition persists, it enters hiccup mode, safeguarding the system until normal conditions resume.
It also includes an isolated auxiliary supply and an integrated control circuit, enabling seamless interaction with UcD and Ncore modules for remote on/off switching and advanced fault management.
Important Note
Technical Advisory: This power supply does not support two-quadrant operation like some other Hypex models. Therefore, it is not recommended for use with half-bridge modules such as UcD400 at frequencies below 100 Hz.
