The Hypex SMPS1200A180 is a high-efficiency, 1200-watt switch-mode power supply (SMPS) designed specifically for use with multiple UcD180HG and UcD180HG HxR amplifier modules. Compact, lightweight, and with low electromagnetic interference (EMI), this PSU is ideal for high-performance audio projects.

This SMPS has been engineered for stable, efficient, and safe performance, even in demanding audio configurations. Its advanced overcurrent protection system limits output current during temporary overloads, and if the condition persists, it enters hiccup mode until normal operation can resume.

Large primary-side electrolytic capacitors ensure wide dynamic headroom, making it ideal for amplifiers that demand high current peaks. An isolated auxiliary output and control circuitry are also included, enabling seamless integration with UcD modules for improved system efficiency.
