Created for music lovers, the CSA70 is designed to deliver exceptional audio performance that belies its power and price. The CSA70 offers four digital inputs, three analog inputs, line output function, as well as a pre-out terminal, a front-facing 1/4" headphone output, and a 70-watt-per-channel power amplifier that It will surprise users who thought their speakers had a lot of power. Unlike its bigger brothers, the CSA100/CSA150, the CSA70 does not use valves in the line stage. The CSA70's preamp section is a solid stage architecture with incredibly low distortion. The CSA70 features the same power amp technology as the CSA100/CSA150, with an inherently faster feedback structure than conventional amplifiers and a wide, high-signal frequency response. The amplifier is of robust construction and is designed to cope with the most difficult dynamic loads that loudspeakers can present, contributing to the amplifiers excellent transient handling capabilities.

Path lengths through the CSA70 amplifiers are minimized by keeping the entire electrical audio architecture on a single printed circuit board, minimizing susceptibility to RF interference and other extraneous noise pickup.

The CSA70 employs an audio grade precision motorized volume control. Unlike most digital volume attenuators, it does not require any additional electronics in the signal path.

The amplifier is protected against various fault conditions that could be dangerous to the amplifier or speakers, including DC offset, overcurrent conditions, and thermal overload, increasing its immunity to external abuse.
