Considered the best product in its class created by Brinkmann, the Taurus incorporates, like the Oasis and Bardo models, the exclusive magnetic field motor tailor-made for the German firm, as well as the “smooth” speed control and the sophisticated "Subplatter" characteristic of the brand. From there, we find exciting new features such as a massive 40mm thick Duralumin chassis inspired by Brinkmann's Balance model, which enables the Taurus to deliver deeper and more visceral bass combined with dynamic agility and powerful starting torque. that characterize all the turntables with direct drive of the German company. The aforementioned chassis has been optimized in terms of resonance control to expel mechanical noise and allow for the extraordinarily low background noise that has made the German brand's turntables so famous. The development of the Spyder model, specifically the turntable's ability to easily add or remove tone arms, led Brinkmann to develop a unique system that allows the Taurus to become a two-arm turntable and vice versa (i.e. pass incorporating two arms into one), admitting practically all arms of length between 9 and 12 inches available on the market. Like Brinkmann's other turntables, the Taurus is equipped with the renowned “Performance Power Supply”.
