The Clearaudio Innovation Compact is a high-end turntable that blends advanced materials, patented technologies, and a structural design aimed at delivering the highest fidelity in analog playback. Its robust chassis—made from a combination of aluminum and bulletproof panzerholz wood—provides a perfectly damped platform, effectively isolating against vibrations and ensuring coloration-free reproduction.
Built to perform for decades with long-term mechanical stability, the Innovation Compact also supports installation of a second tonearm, making it a highly versatile platform for vinyl collectors and demanding audiophiles.
High-Density Platter and High-Torque Motor
The 40 mm thick POM platter, dynamically balanced for rotational stability, ensures quiet, smooth, and precise operation. A specially developed 24V DC motor, decoupled from the main chassis to avoid mechanical interference, works in tandem with Clearaudio’s Optical Speed Control (OSC) system for real-time, exceptionally accurate speed regulation.
The bearing system combines Clearaudio’s patented CMB (Ceramic Magnetic Bearing) on the main platter with an inverted bearing on the drive platter beneath, reducing friction to the bare minimum and ensuring silent, low-resistance rotation.
