The Angel Falls of Venezuela is the highest waterfall in the world, with a height of 979 meters and a fall of 807 meters. The Spanish name "Angel Falls" and the English name "Angel Falls" come from Jimmie Angel's last name. Angel was a US aviator who was the first to fly over the falls.
