Topline RCA plug with nextgen ™ technology with signal conductor made of pure copper nextgen ™ - new generation of WBT RCA connectors The element that has basic impact on the sound quality of WBT-0152 Cu is the central contact unit has been developed qui-exactly same as for plug model WBT-0110 Cu: minimum mass of high purity copper signal conductors. Copper was chosen as one of the best conductors to provide high speed transmission, but also excellent fine resolution. Of course, this metal is nickel-free gold plated, so the surface will not oxidize, which would affect the contact quality. WBT-0152 Cu falls on the ICT transmission bandwidth of up to 200MHz far above the transmission bandwidth of conventional RCA plugs. Through the pickup manifold device that works like a drill chuck of a drilling machine, the plug contact has been firmly inserted into the RCA jack. Maximum contact speed provides a secure connection, but also minimizes transition resistance.

Thanks to the two-piece clamping sleeve, the sleeve does not rotate when the clamping sleeve is tightened and therefore the contact elements are not exposed to torsional pressure. Furthermore, in this way the inaccuracy dimension of the outer contacts of the sockets is compensated.

The center pin is slotted and slightly bent upwards with its firm spring feature that has a long lasting secure electrical connection with the lowest possible transition resistance.

The body element is made of brass (nickel free gold plated) to accept particularly thick and rigid cables. The metal connector body is, of course, electrically decoupled from the center contact and is made with as little metal as possible, so WBT-0152 is widely available.

Other recordings for recordings (turntables, microphones) have good shielding against interfering electromagnetic fields. Undesirable interference can be surrounded by (cell phones, computers, etc.). To solder your cable, WBT recommends using WBT-0800 (see also solder connection) which is smooth on the surface.
