It is a stylish stereophonic integrated amplifier with the unmistakable aesthetics of the veteran Danish firm Copland that seeks to bring together the advantages of transistor and tube amplification through its highly innovative approach. Specifically, the CSA100 combines dual triode-based preamp circuitry with a current-feedback transistorized output stage that allows it to deliver 100 continuous watts per channel into 8 ohms or 180 continuous watts per channel over 4 ohms. The double triode works with a high bias voltage to maximize linearity and is responsible only for voltage amplification. On the other hand, a circuitry equipped with MOSFET transistors provides the brute force necessary to drive the output of the line stage and the feedback circuitry, ensuring at the same time a tight control between the world of the valves, governed by voltage, and the of the transistors, governed by current. The CSA100 also includes a phono input for moving magnet (MM) capsules, as well as a dedicated headphone amplifier and DAC functionality based on one of the renowned 32-bit D / A conversion “chips” with ES9018 SABER Reference technology. from the American ESS Technology.
