The Cyrus i9-XR is the flagship integrated amplifier of the XR series, engineered from the ground up to deliver uncompromising sonic performance. Combining power, digital precision, and exceptional analog design, it features a compact die-cast alloy chassis with a matte black finish and customizable display.
High-Performance Digital Conversion
At its core is the second-generation QXR2 DAC, built around the ESS ES9038Q2M chip and paired with a high-speed analog buffer stage. The i9-XR supports PCM up to 32-bit / 768 kHz and DSD512 via USB, and offers a choice of seven digital filter settings for tailored sound tuning.
Premium Analog Stage
Derived from the Pre-XR, the analog preamp section features a high-performance gain architecture with relay switching and four analog inputs, including a low-noise MM phono stage inspired by the award-winning Cyrus Phono Signature.
Power and Precision
Delivering 2 x 91 W into 6 Ω and a bandwidth exceeding 100 kHz, the i9-XR offers dynamic, controlled playback even with demanding loudspeakers.
PSU-XR Upgrade Ready
The i9-XR is fully compatible with the PSU-XR external power supply, providing five independently regulated power lines to enhance the performance of both the preamp and power amp stages.
