KRELL K-300i. 2x150W stereo reference amplifier.

Conceptual inheritor of the well-remembered KAV-300i, which was launched in 1999, the K-300i is a stereophonic integrated amplifier that stands out first of all for incorporating a newly developed amplification circuit, based on Krell's iBias technology, and that allows to deliver continuous power per channel of 150 watts into 8 ohms or 300 watts into 4 ohms. A 770VA transformer and capacitor bank totaling 80,000uF capacity form the core of a powerful power supply that enables the new Krell to exhibit exceptional control and dynamics. In addition, the K-300i uses the proven Krell Current Mode topology in fully differential circuitry from input to output stage. But the new Krell still offers more, because with the installation of its optional digital module it gives you the connectivity and features required to support the most advanced digital audio formats. An ESS Saber Pro D / A conversion “chip” configured to deliver high currents constitutes the nerve center of the aforementioned module, which also performs the functions of audio “renderer” for “streaming” of AAC, ALAC, AIFF, FLAC files. WAV, WMA and DoP up to 24 bit / 192 kHz from UPnP music servers or NAS devices. The digital module for the K-300i also incorporates Spotify, vTuner Internet radio, TIDAL, Deezer and Qobuz services, while being Roon Ready and decoding MQA.
