Icon Audio Stereo 60 MKIV: The First UL/Triode Integrated Amplifier with KT150
The Stereo 60 MKIV is Icon Audio’s most powerful integrated amplifier, designed to deliver a fast, dynamic, and energetic sound.
With its high-capacity power supply and high-performance output transformers, this amplifier fully harnesses the Tung-Sol KT150/KT120 tubes, offering greater impact and clarity than its KT88 predecessor.
This model has been fully optimized for KT150 tubes, featuring low-distortion "LDT" transformers and a copper-alloy top plate for improved stability and sonic fidelity.
Integrated & Power Amplifier in One Device
The Stereo 60 MKIV functions as both an integrated amplifier and a standalone power amplifier.
At the press of a switch, the input sensitivity can be adjusted, allowing users to:
Connect it directly to an external preamplifier
Use it as a fully integrated amplifier with remote volume control
Triode & Ultralinear Modes in One Amplifier
Audiophiles often prefer the warmth and natural tone of triode mode, though it typically delivers less power.
With the UL/Triode switch, the Stereo 60 MKIV allows users to switch between:
Ultralinear Mode (80W per channel) → Higher power & dynamics
Triode Mode (50W per channel) → Smoother, more natural sound
This flexibility allows optimal adaptation to different speaker types and musical styles.
