The Progression S350 Stereo Amplifier adds a powerful stereo option to the Progression family.

Leveraging our innovative Super Rail circuitry, the Progression S350 stereo amplifier exploits this unique technology that offers remarkable control and fidelity to any connected speaker.

Each amplifier employs one voltage rail, actually two, one positive and its partner negative.

The voltage rails support the delivery of power to the speaker.

The music signal oscillates between these two rails, but due to natural loss, the music signal never reaches the full capacity of the output rails.

Our Super Rail overcomes this limitation. Borrowing the idea of ​​a turbo in a car engine, the Super Rail employs higher voltage rails in the sections leading up to the output stage.

This "surge" in voltage allows the musical signal to exploit the full capacity of the output voltage rails.

Extending the oscillation of the musical signal closer to the output rails maximizes the performance of the output circuit design itself. The result is improved dynamics, less distortion, and a fierce grip on the speaker.

Substantial foundation

A lot of power is required for realistic sound quality and is the cornerstone of Dan D'Agostino Master Audio Systems' amplifier design.

The progression stereo continues this practice.

A sleek anodized aluminum chassis houses a 2000VA power supply transformer coupled to nearly 100,000 microfarads of power supply storage capacity.

Along with this base is a completely complementary driver stage and an output circuit equipped with 48 power transistors, 24 each for the left and right channels that generate an impressive output.

Initially used in the Relentless Mono, the power output device provides the basis for an improved output stage.

This transistor extends the high-frequency response, increases power handling by 50%, and features a tighter gain tolerance between complementary NPN / PNP pairs.

A wider safe operating area and superior gain linearity provide greater thermal stability throughout the amplifiers' power delivery.

Coupling the new output device to the high-efficiency heat sink design results in increased operating bias.

Higher operating bias reduces crossover distortion improving instrument timbre and tonal reproduction.

The progression stereo delivers 350 watts at 8 ohms and 700 watts at 4 ohms, and correctly doubles its output back to 2 ohms, with a power output of 1,400 watts.

The essence of live music, dynamic contrasts, are faithfully reproduced with spectacularly rendered state-of-the-art transients.

Elegantly powerful

Inspired by the elegant faces of classic Swiss watches, the Progression S350 Stereo features an exposed movement power meter.

With two 90 ° needle rocker arms, a high-speed ballistic circuit enhances the meter's responsiveness.

Longer swing arms improve readability throughout the amplifier's output range.

Drawn straight from the relentless mono amp, each heatsink is ground from a single 48.5-pound (22-kilogram) slab of aluminum.

This highly efficient elliptical shape dramatically improves the cooling capacity of the design and ensures that the Progression S350 stereo amplifier operates safely and reliably even when delivering its full power rating.

Standard finishes include silver and black with custom painted finishes available upon request.
