JMF PHS7.2 phono

Of course, most of the historical recordings have been remastered and transferred to CD or in high resolution. However, we found that the digital versions failed to integrate the emotion and atmospheres in their entirety. In our opinion, the recordings from the 1950s to the 1970s, and most of the 1980s, were meant to be reproduced on vinyl. Only vinyl could translate all the music and transport the listener to an appropriate emotional state.

This was the initial motivation for the development of the JMF Audio phono preamplifier / lineariser.

We resumed the development of the new phono lineariser based on our last realisations dating back to 1997. The results quickly confirmed our expectations. The recordings from the analogue era were pleasant, warm and natural. Then, as we applied the experience of the last decades, with absolute and dedicated research development, the prototypes improved to the point where we were fascinated by the resulting natural and realistic performance ... even in today's recordings ...
