The T / 5x borrows a single 8 "(200mm) bass driver from its bigger brother, the T / 7x. Developed with a lightweight foil and aluminum composite, this cone captures surprising detail while delivering enough power to go deeper than you might expect for its size. On T / 5x, its launch has been increased - the ability to play louder. Internally, the suspension has received numerous improvements, as if it were to transform the handling From a family saloon car to a real sports car, more power, more finesse.

The T / 5x is based on the reliable and expensive 125W Class A / B amplifiers of its predecessor. Internally, key elements for improving transparency and speed have been updated at no cost to REL's legendary reliability. Separate inputs for the high-level and low-level inputs (necessary for the growing number of powered active loudspeakers emerging on the market) allow for a seamless and natural transition from loudspeaker to subwoofer. And in the theater, a separate dedicated .1 / LFE input for theater performance allows automatic transition between music in high-end 2-channel applications and home theater without changing a single setting.
